Zoom and Facebook Help

New to Zoom?

  • Here are some things you can do in advance to get ready for the festival:
    • Download Zoom from http://zoom.us/. You can do this on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. If you don't want to download the app, it is possible to view Zoom sessions in your browser, but you'll have a better experience if you use the app. You do not need to have a Zoom account to join a Zoom session.
    • Familiarize yourself with Zoom before the Festival. Quick start user guides for Windows, Linux, and Mac can be found here.

How does this online festival work?

  • Master Classes will be on Zoom. Each class will have its own Zoom session, which you can join and leave at will. Links to the Zoom sessions will be available soon and the live virtual events will become active at their scheduled times.
  • Like and follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/abqfolkfest/ and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/ABQFOLKFESTto keep up with all the latest information on what's happening with this year's festivals.

    1. Restart your device.
    2. Make sure you are connected to the internet and your WiFi or mobile internet are working.
    3. Make sure your volume is turned up on your device and your speakers are plugged in or turned on.
