The folk festival is interested in mostly local talent that represents the folk diversity in the city of Albuquerque. Bands, musicians, dance groups, and arts and crafters, and story tellers who are willing to present for free, and who's musical style fits the mission and style of the folk festival, are encouraged to contact director Gary Libman at .
Professional performing artists interested in being considered for a stage performance at a future Albuquerque Folk Festival may e-mail performers@abqfolkfest.org. We urge interested performers (or their agents) to read our performer selection process to be sure they meet our selection criteria. Please do NOT send press materials or CDs through the mail unless we request them. A brief e-mail with the performer's website URL and links to additional websites where music samples are posted is all that is needed for initial contact. All serious inquiries will receive a response.
